Design Features
Characteristics:
AI Series hollow cone nozzle is a two-piece combination nozzle with a removable spray cap assembled on the top of the body. Fluid enters the swirl chamber tangentially, forming a spray through the swirling effect, significantly reducing the risk of blockage without internal guide vanes or narrow channels. The spray area is circularly distributed with no droplets in the center, forming a uniform hollow cone-shaped coverage. The spray angle is typically 90°–120°, with medium-sized droplets.
This hollow cone nozzle maintains good atomization effects at lower pressures and is particularly suitable for processes requiring efficient liquid-phase contact, such as rapid heat exchange, gas cooling, etc.
Commonly used 304/316/316L stainless steel, with strong corrosion resistance, suitable for acidic and alkaline environments (such as flue gas desulfurization towers, chemical washing). The detachable spray cap design facilitates easy cleaning and replacement of parts, making maintenance convenient.
Its smooth flow passage design allows larger particles or impurities to pass through (such as limestone particles in flue gas desulfurization slurry), making it suitable for media with high impurity content. With its anti-clogging design, low-pressure adaptability, and corrosion-resistant material.
The AI Series stainless steel hollow cone nozzle has become the preferred choice for high-impurity fluid treatment (such as flue gas desulfurization, sewage spraying). If larger flow rates or solid coverage scenarios (such as cleaning, fire prevention) are required, full cone or spiral nozzles can be considered.
