Design Features

Characteristics:

The high-pressure mist ring is a circular spray pipeline, which works by pressurizing water to 50-70 bar through a high-pressure fog machine. When the high-pressure water flow passes through the mist nozzle, it is guided by the internal ring structure of the nozzle forming a high-speed rotating water flow, which is sprayed out through the nozzle hole to form 3-10μm micron atomized particles. It uses mechanisms as inertial collision and diffusion effect to adsorb dust or cool down by vaporization and heat absorption.

The mist ring produced by Relab has undergone multiple surface processes, with uniform welding points, no air holes, and no water leakage. Each misting ring has undergone a 70 bar water pressure test before leaving the factory to ensure quality.

After more than 10 years of production research, its diameter can be as small as 12 inches/305mm and as large as 40 inches/1016mm, which can meet the misting needs of different scenarios. We recommend choosing the FE Series mist nozzles, and the nozzle holes can be stainless steel or ceramic materials with a hole of 0.3mm/0.4mm.

  • Nozzle socket quantity is available in 12"(4 nozzles), 16"(6 nozzles), 18"(8 nozzles), 22"(8 nozzles), 24"(10 nozzles), 28"(12 nozzles), 30"(14 nozzles), 40"(15 nozzles);
  • Socket thread sizes are available in 10/24unc-2B, W3/16 and M5;
  • The misting rings are made from 304/316 stainless steel pipes;
  • Inlet connection thread size is 1/4 female NPT/BSPT standard.

Working process:

1. Water source supply:

It is necessary to ensure a stable water source supply to provide sufficient water pressure and flow. It is connected to municipal water supply or a dedicated water storage device. Before entering the misting system, water needs to pass through a filter device to remove impurities, particles, and precipitates the water to ensure the quality of the spray and prevent the nozzle from clogging.

2. High-pressure fog machine:

The water source is pressurized a high-pressure fog machine to achieve the required pressure of 50-70 bar.

3. Mist nozzle:

The high-pressure mist ring needs to be matched an mist nozzle. By using the FE series of mist nozzles with 10/24 threads and a filter screen, the pressurized water flow the misting ring's nozzle, passes through the ring structure inside the nozzle head, forms a high-speed rotating water flow and atomizes into tiny water droplets.

4. Spray effect:

The atomized water droplets are evenly sprayed in the target area to achieve efficient spraying effect.

Typical Application:

1. Industrial field:

In the industrial field, the mist ring can be used for dust removal, cooling, humidification, etc., to improve the working environment production efficiency. For example, it can be used in mines, cement plants, etc., with a dust adsorption efficiency of more than 95%.

2. Humidification and cooling:

The mist ring can be attached to the household fans to form a misting fan. With the help of the fan, the misting ring can more effectively extend the spray distance and range, and can quickly cool down by 3-8°C.

3. Garden landscape:

In garden landscape design, the mist ring can be used for artificial fog, fountains, and other landscape facilities, adding interest and beauty to the landscape.

4. Dust suppression:

The mist ring can be also attached to large industrial fans for dust suppression of large poultry, ranch and sand and gravel yard, ore yard, coal yardor belts.
