Classification of Nozzles based on Amount of Fluids
Nozzles can be classified based on amount of fluids supplied: single-fluid nozzles, two-fluid nozzles and multi-fluid nozzles.
For the Single-fluid nozzles, they are usually hydraulic atomization nozzles, the water or oil is for the spray media. There are also some nozzles that use compressed air as the medium, such as blowing jet nozzles and air shower nozzles; and some nozzles use oil as the medium, such as oil burner nozzles.
For the Two-fluid nozzles, they are usually air-assisted liquid atomization nozzles. The liquid is driven by compressed air to form a mist, such as air atomizing nozzles.
For the Multi-fluid nozzles, which are usually a mixture of multiple fluids, oils or gases, such as mixing jet eductor nozzles.
1. Single-fluid Nozzles
A Series Hollow Cone Nozzles, B Series Full Cone Nozzles, C Series Flat Fan Nozzles, D Series Solid Stream Jet Nozzles. Of course, these nozzles can not only spray water, but also spray a mixture of water and other solutions.
2. Two-fluid Nozzles
J Series Air Atomizing Nozzles, GA Siphon Oil Burner Nozzles.
3. Multi-fluid Nozzles
A few mixing eductor nozzles and multi-function nozzles.
